Among these strategies, the adoption of a plant-based diet has gned significant traction due to its potential benefits in reducing blood glucose levels and improving overall health outcomes for individuals with type 2 diabetes. This paper provide a comprehensive review on optimizing this dietary approach specifically tlored for better management of Type 2 diabetes.
Introduction:
Diabetes mellitus, particularly type 2 diabetes, is characterized by hyperglycemia that results from insulin resistance or inadequate insulin secretion. The condition can lead to several complications if not well-controlled and managed effectively. A plant-based diet offers a unique opportunity for individuals with diabetes since it includes high in fiber, low glycemic index foods which play a crucial role in regulating blood glucose levels.
