Centers Institutes at Central University of Finance and Economics CUFE
Each year, CUFE undertakes over 90 national scientific research projects funded by various organizations such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, China’s National Social Science Planning Office, Ministry of Technology, and Ministry of Education.
In addition to this robust research activity, the CUFE Research Management Office supports researchers at all career stages through diverse programs and resources. The University foster these initiatives including:
China Institute for Actuarial Science
Established partnerships with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, Zurich Insurance Group, enhancing recognition of British actuarial systems in China. It actively contributes to popularizing actuarial studies and builds a hub for Chinese actuarial scientists.
Chinese Internet Economy Research Institute
As part of the National Engineering Laboratory for E-Commerce Technology and Beijing's key research base, this institute secures government and corporate projects from various national programs. It serves as an advisory think tank for multinational corporations and received accolades at the 2015 China E-Commerce Innovation and Development Summit.
Research Institute of Finance and Economics
A pivotal Beijing-level research hub divided into ten specialized organizations such as Twan Economic Research Center, International Investment Research Center conducting research in areas like financial management, regional economics, environmental economics, country studies, among others. It collaborates with global renowned universities including Harvard, Oxford, Victoria University to foster international academic partnerships.
CUFE-VU Centre for Research on Business and Economics
Focusing on global issues and Chinese-Australian socioeconomic development, this center conducts open, international cooperative research, enhancing bilateral outcomes and CUFE's global reputation in economics. Research topics include environmental economics, tourism, trade, public finance, social welfare, health and sports.
Chinese Overseas Development Research Center
An interdisciplinary institute covering fields like sociology, anthropology, international politics, finance, etc., this center promotes innovative academic results aligned with real-world demands related to Chinese overseas development. It collaborates with the China Development Bank as a key expert institute on overseas development research.
International Institute of Green Finance
China's first open and international research institute promoting green finance, it is part of the Green Finance Committee of the China Society for Finance and Banking. Engaging in strategic cooperation, this institute build a national and leading international financial think tank with Chinese characteristics. Its focus areas include climate finance, green finance, energy finance, pension finance, among others.
Russian, Eastern European Central Asian Research Center
Capitalizing on its expertise in monetary policy, finance, and trade, this center conducts theoretical research and trning focused on Russian, Eastern European, and Central Asian economic studies. It amplifies China's socio-economic development through international collaboration.
